Answer: A "S *" next to a path indicates that it is a static default route. If there was no asterisk, the route would have been a type demonstratedstatic route - but not a static default route.

CCENT Certification / Network + Certification question:

Which of the following network is not connected to the same OSI layer as the other?

A. Router

Package B.

C. TCP

D. IP

Answer: C. TCP operates at the transport layer of the OSI model. The other three terms are associated with the network level. The network layer is sometimes referred to as the "level of routing."

CCNP Certification / BSCITry:

If an IPv6 address begins with "FF", what kind of address is?

A. Broadcast

B. Unicast

C. Anycast

D. Multicast

Answer: D. Any IPv6 address beginning with "FF" is a multicast. IPv6 does not use broadcasts.

CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:

Do you have an Etherchannel and note that the tribe has set configured. Control interfaces on a switch and note that two "err-disabled." The doors do not match other switches.What should I do?

A. No - this is normal and desired behavior.

B. Close and reopen the err disabled interfaces.

C. Continue and open the non-err-disabled interfaces.

D. Use the err-disabled interfaces made the wrong command.

Answer: B. After finishing the configuration, close and reopen the err disabled interfaces. If the configuration is correct, this will do the trick. This is common when you configure all ports on a switch and then restart the configurationAnother change, rather than back and forth between the appropriate ports on the switches.
